A bit about the beer
Ingredients – Water, Hops, Malt, Yeast
From one of the breweries of Hop Springs - a brewery, beer garden, and outdoor park located on 84 acres in Murfreesboro, Tennessee is Steel Barrel Brewing, a craft brewery where they brew classic and traditional styles of Ale, according to their Instagram page.
Frost Crushable is one of their beers, and according to the official description on their website "Frost is born from German precision but built for the forester in all of us. Forged out of granite but athletic enough for the everyday drinker. Frost is a man on top of the mountain, and he didn’t fall there".
For me, poured from a can it has a beautiful clear golden colour with a white head that lasts. Aromas of grain and yeast notes are present, and the taste is nicely balanced with some biscuit and grain flavours coming through. It is quite light in body and the smell, taste and mouthfeel makes me think of a Lager.
Overall its a pretty decent beer, especially when consumed ice cold!
